The short film opens with a title card telling the story of the Oscar winner attempting to forge peace between warring clans in a distant land.
” The world decomposes in dispute,” opens the video. “Many tribes battle for dominance” and “the generosity punks battle for Chromatica”.
Girl Gaga depicts a ‘Compassion Punk’ in the video, as she and her similarly-clad back-up dancers try to spread out peace worldwide, apparently through the art of disco-pop choreography.
In essential Gaga style, the video is replete with extravagant, eccentric costumes and the vocalist’s waist-length, poker-straight hair is dyed a Pepto Bismol shade of pink. The tribes, meanwhile, are clad in red, black, green, yellow and blue ensembles
As expected from the woman who as soon as appeared on the red carpet impersonated a beef steak, used an overall of four aims to in 2015’s Met Gala and when climbed out of a huge egg at the Grammys, the fashion in the video is as distinctive and fabulous as Gaga herself.
Behold all the fashion looks from “Dumb Love”.
Black makeup Generosity Punk
Colour plays a central function in Lady Gaga’s “Foolish Love” music video, creating a visual difference in between the warring tribes.
Gaga’s opening look sees the vocalist in a pink punk-inspired underclothing ensemble of hot pink bralet and matching, high-waisted trousers. Including BDSM accessories, Gaga’s trousers are belted with layered rubber spikes and locked with a small silver padlock, with silver chains suspending. Around her neck, the singer wears a metal pink dog collar that matches her long pointed metallic nail extensions. The appearance is complemented with a high pink pony and area age makeup.
Black makeup Area hopper
Gaga’s second appearance– and our individual favourite– is a complete metallic outfit consisting of bra, basque and pants used with a matching bolero with severe pointed shoulder pads and calf-length boots. Here the vocalist’s hair is pulled back into a high pony and she uses a blue visor over the lower part of her face, revealing a circular bindi with heart detailing, symbolising her commitment to love.
Black makeup Power Ranger
Gaga’s third appearance in the video is a Power Ranger-esque intergalactic dream. A satin pink corseted Wiederhoeft bodice is worn underneath a studded black leather Dust and Beau gilet, Harajuku-style ribboned tights and gloves and infant pink walking boots. The appearance is complemented with an Alien-style fascinator.

Black makeup Metal magenta bikini
This clothing is unquestionably the most understated worn by Gaga in the music video, which– considering its striking colour scheme– is stating something. The ensemble includes an amalgamation of pink shades, from the singer’s mismatched fishnet gloves to her one-shoulder magenta swimsuit top, cut-out swimsuit bottoms and neon boots. As the founder of make-up brand name Haus Laboratories, Gaga’s appearance would not be total without a splash of hot pink lipstick and metal embellishments on her face.
Black makeup The green tribe
In addition to wearing outfits comprised mostly of one colour, each tribe illustrated in the “Silly Love” video shows unique sartorial functions. The green clan, for instance, have plainly been styled in a manner planned to simulate nature, wearing ferns, leaves and moss to match their dark green and blue garments.
Black makeup The yellow people
The yellow people, on the other hand, is particularly on-trend with their streetwear-inspired looks, using a combination of nylon sportswear, dungarees, visors, mesh garments and 1990 s-esque fight pants.
Black makeup The blue tribe
The group dressed in blue make use of the denim-on-denim pattern made famous by Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears at the 2001 American Music Awards, outfitted in a mix of ripped denims, torn gilets and high-waisted shorts and their hair colored intense shades of blue. The people’s style could be viewed as taking motivation from the sea, in contrast to the foliage-focused green clan.
Black makeup The red tribe
The red tribe put on an effective display screen in the video with their sweeping garments, which may have taken motivation from the Japanese Kimono. The group’s attires are the most easy and improved of the people, consisting entirely of scarlet bathrobes, black gloves, black leggings and boots.
Black makeup The black tribe
The black people is the most punk-rock of the lot, a reality made more apparent when dancing alongside the child pink-clad Lady Gaga. Their ensembles feature a wide variety of clashing elements, including frightening masks, holey tights, leather bodysuits and battle boots.
